Data Policy and Safeguarding

How we protect your data

Our Data Responsibility

We recognise that processing your data and the data of your students is a huge responsibility.

We include the right to erasure on all of our accounts and offer transparency on what we are doing with your data.

As a service we collect the minimum amount of data we need to function.

All student work is password protected and we do not own what is uploaded.

We only share your data with selected third-parties who are essential for our service or for educational research and enter into a Data Processing Agreement with suppliers whenever we can.

As we work with schools in a range of settings, laws will differ, but in the UK the ICO are clear that children under 13 should have parental consent when sharing personal data. This is also best practice where these laws do not apply in practice.

We have put together an editable word document consent form below to help you to get consent from your parents. We hope this is helpful.
